New Mobius

What is New Mobius?

New Mobius is the universe in which the planet is completely reset by Sonic and Eggman Nega, expanding the lore of the universe as well as altering and changing certain events.

How it all began

This timeline of main events will give an idea of what’s occurred already, and what’s to come.

The Great Mobian War

Taking place some time after Lost World, the Great Mobian War was the grand scaled battle between Sonic’s forces and Eggman’s army. Metal Sonic proved to be the real threat however, taking on a new powerful form. It was the team up of Sonic, Shadow and Amy that battled across dimensions to stop Metal, sealing him in the moon. Eggman is also killed in the war.

Dark Gaia’s Return

After the war, Dark Gaia is released upon the world again, splitting the planet back into seven pieces. After a lengthy search and fight, it’s finally restored.

The Dream Caster Wave

Finally deciding to repair their destroyed moon, Sonic readies a Genesis Wave only to have it merged with Eggman Nega’s own, creating the Dream Caster Wave. Green Hills once destroyed lands now becomes Red Hill, the moon is restored, though Nega’s alterations are casted too. Eggman is revived and Vector is turned into a robot.

The Forces of Hope

Years after the Dream Caster Wave, Eggman resurfaces once again, waging war against Sonic and co. This time he brings about a new enemy; Infinite, who easily defeats Sonic and leaving the world defenseless. Six months after his rescue, Sonic and his friends create the Forces of Hope, a Resistance team to stop Eggman and infinite, restoring their world back to normal.

Sonic vs Infinite

Near the final stand against Infinite, Sonic takes him head on in a last one on one battle. Near the end he resorts in using his Genesis Bomb, resetting Infinite’s timeline and altering his fate where he’s now known as Saber. The rest of the Resistance defeats Eggman and he’s locked away.

Eggman’s Half Dozen

After countless defeats and his most recent failure of Infinite, Eggman decides to get revenge on an even grander scale this time around. He reflects back on all of Sonic’s old enemies and picks from the strongest bunch who he could convince to join his legion. Sonic is then pitted against Eggman and four of his strongest villains. (Currently ongoing story.)
